Rolly Pollies, Shopping Carts, and Hokie Football
Cameron and I have started going to gym/music classes on Tuesday afternoons to get out of the house, meet people, and also so Cameron gets some interaction with other babies. (The music and gym part is fun, too) She is the youngest in her class, but I think she is doing really well with the other babies. She gets a little jealous when they crawl, but I don't think she is too far behind. Here are some pictures of her first day. I'm also posting a picture of Cameron's first ride in a shopping cart without her car seat and her first Saturday of watching college football.
Gooo Hokies!
6 Months
It's hard for me to believe that our precious girl is already 6 months old! Time is flying by. Cameron is now 16.7 pounds and 26 3/4 inches. She has tried carrots, pears, and mashed potatoes now and once again is not crazy about the carbs. What child does not like mashed potatoes? Her personality is really starting to come out and she makes us laugh all the time.
Cameron's Baptism
Cameron's baptism was a beautiful and very special day. She was baptized at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Horseshoe Bay. Her Godfather Michael, Michael's girlfriend Kelsey, and Grammy Piercefield flew from Virginia to be a part of the ceremony. Bruce and I felt so blessed to have them here to participate in Cameron's baptism and we missed and thought of those who couldn't attend that day. Please know you were in our thoughts and we are forever thankful for your love and support.
5 months
At 5 months Cameron had already gone on two east coast vacations and been in 8 different airports! She also had tried some new solid (pureed) food, including: apples, zucchini, and avocado. She still loves the fruits and veggies, but not a huge fan of the avocado. I'm thinking she doesn't like bland food. Oh, and she also discovered her new favorite toy -- her feet!
June Beach Vacation
This summer we were lucky enough to visit both sets of Great Grandparents. First we flew to Virginia to stay one night with Nana and Pops and then we headed to Nags Head to spend a few days with Bruce's entire family. We then flew to Wisconsin to visit Paw, Aunt Paige, and Grandma and Papa Piercefield. It was quite the vacation and Cameron was a wonderful travel partner and such a doll. She loved being around other kids and meeting all of her family! (: We made it to Virginia!

4 months
At four months Cameron was still enjoying the pool, visits from her Paw, Uncle Sean, and Aunt Carolyn, and she began to eat solid foods. She had been introduced to rice cereal (which she does not like) bananas, sweet potatoes, peas, and squash. She liked all of her fruits and veggies just no rice for these little taste buds!
